| Boeing, GE Aircraft Engines, Honeywell International, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, and NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) have formed the Aeroacoustics Research Consortium to collaborate in pre-competitive research in engine related aeroacoustics. The Consortium is focused at NASA GRC, and consists of a community of geographically distributed scholars linked to their home institutions. A major emphasis of the Consortium is on interaction and knowledge exchange between Consortium-sponsored researchers and technical personnel at each of the Consortium member organizations. It is therefore required that, as an integral part of their proposed research effort, proposers include specific plans for interaction with NASA Glenn Research Center and each of the Consortium's industry sponsors through visits and/or part-time or full-time residencies, as well as plans for knowledge exchange through the presentation of lectures, tutorials, courses, etc. Proposers should also indicate how colleagues or programs at your home organization will be linked to and benefit the Consortium on an ongoing basis. Research should be in one of the four core areas indicated below. |
